Realistically though, it is all well and good trying to blame the council for this back in 2003, but OSB has in my opinion pointed out why it was sold to higgs for £6.5 million. Fletcher is trying to sell his book. OSB is posting on a forum. It is up to you what you want to believe. I am not saying Fletcher is lying, but misleading may be a better word.
2003 is over 10 years ago. We are now in 2014. Just to clarify to some - SISU bought us in 2007, and decided that rent needed to be discussed in 2013.
Considering SISU are experts in "turning distressed companies around to make a profit" you would have thought such a bad deal for the club would have been sorted out in 2007, maybe at a push 2008?
It is clear that no side are angels in this case. It appears to me that it is a series of unfortunate events that has eventually led to its collapse. Ulimately the ball is in SISU's court.
