What's the parking like on Burbage's Lane (and surrounding side streets) please? Need to explore alternatives having got stuck the last couple of times with the road closures!

If your parking on the roadside anywhere round Burbages Lane you stand a good chance of getting a ticket .The top end of St Giles Road are ticketed regularly. You can walk the bottom end by the Church it is outside the zones.

For some reason they don’t seem to ticket after Deans Way. However, there were also tickets issued in Deans Way last game.

Yeah they have clocked on.

If you walk down a bit you can park outside the zone and it's about a 5 minute extra walk.

Thanks all, appreciate the help here. I didn't realise the parking zone extended that far with not being local. Normally use the small car park right at the bottom of Burbage's Lane but they put the cones out last time to stop turning out right on to Winding House Lane - though some drivers just got out the car and shifted them so they could get out!

P14 sold out at the school

Yeah the parking zone covers all of it, if you can get there early you could chuck it on the grass by the bull and anchor...

I ‘ve decided to walk this season, takes about 45 minutes.More people should walk if they are fit and able to do so if they live not too far from the ground,Cars make you lazy.

It’s easier parking away from the ground and getting a uber , as long as you can spare the time of travel

If you live within 45 mins walk of the ground, I can't imagine that driving was ever worth the bother.

My brother who has lived on Dean's Way the last 4 years and didn't realise he was in the parking zone for the CBS got his first ticket a few weeks back. Last 4 years before that though he's never seen a ticket officer.

I park about 30 mins away, just outside the zone, easy enough.

I'm in Bedworth and I usually get the bus to the game but have been walking back and it takes about the same amount of time. The road closures are a nightmare as the bus used to be really quick getting back but not anymore.

As long as you use the pub itself you can park there.

Does anyone know roughly how long after full time the road is usually opened?

By the time you are out of the stadium and walk up to P1 it’s about 10-15min wait for the road to open.

Was half an hour. Seems to be a fair bit quicker recently.

I usually park in Morrisons at the end of Hen Lane, £4 a pop through the YourParkingSpace app. Perfect getaway.

Unfortunately, Morrisons have now pulled out of the scheme (countrywide) so no more parking there. Back to Finbarr's then.

What is parking like in Keresley Heath? We have parked for last 2 games at Finbarrs & Holbrook primary school but both took ages to get out & I think we may as well walk a bit further and out of the parking zones.

It'll probably be too late for tmrw, but Christ the King (Winding House Lane) and John Shelton Primary School both work really well for me.

It is surely of note that Nottingham , with a similar political history, has a very efficient, effective and reasonably priced tram system in place.

Not as reasonably priced as it used to be since they scrapped the events return ticket about 2 years ago

It’s reasonably priced compared to parking in the city itself. I was shocked a few years ago to be charged £15 for an afternoon “shopping” with my wife. Park and ride every time now.

Easy to get in and out of, no hold ups in that regard.

How are trains from Nuneaton and back these days?

NCP car parks are mega expensive. But 2 adults on the tram now costs £11.

It's a policy that economies of scale are not applied and this the future of private operations on any form of travel.

And people wonder why the high street is dying

Had the same somewhere this week, parked for the afternoon, came back to a £17 charge. End result, won't be visiting again unless absolutely essential.
