Just thought I'd mention that they appear to be installing number plate recognition cameras at Tescos - so might not be a viable option next season for those who park there. New signs indicating two hours free parking maximum also.

Not surprised it was chaos last season. I gave up parking there.

Thought the cameras had always been up there but never actually utilised.

Noticed for the last concert (well that MtV thing) they had signs up saying the same, and folk stood at the entrance doing very little. Wonder anyone did actually get stung by it or f the signs are just decoys?

Here we go possibly switched on at Wasps request it could not just be they want their customers being able to get in and out without having to deal with extra traffic caused by football .Afterall it is their carpark.

Why is it paranoia .. Surely it is good business sense by wasps .if they only get an extra 200 a game parking there that's £2000 a game so with football and rugby matches combined that's an extra £70,000 a year in revenues ...I don't like the fact ,but can see why they might want it

Read the "kidfromstretton" post,
Do you really believe wasps call Tesco and ask them to stop football supporters
Parking there . LOL
Or could it be that it's Tesco car park and they would like it to be used for Tesco
Customers, on what is probably there busiest afternoon of the week.
Only real surprise is that it's took them this long to do it.

Are there any large parking area's around the Ricoh left not hoovered up by ACL that CCFC could aquire use of on matchdays even if they are a mile or so away.

What law change?
I don't pay any private parking charges after a while of scary letters they give up!!
Have things changed then?

Yes ..and no check pepipoo.co.uk..they advise you appeal through a parking on private land appeal..( popla) I used to do the same and although they usually give up on you in some cases the do succeed where as with a popla they have to prove loss of income etc

Just from observations on ccfc match days and wasps match days, it seems to be that far more wasps and visiting rugby fans park in tesco than cov fans. I complained to wasps when I got stuck in the tesco car park for an hour and half because of the mass exudos of their fans after their game finished. Said it was none of their business what their fans do....

Can't you just do a bit of shopping before or after the game?

If you go shopping at Tesco when there is a football or rugby game on then you deserve to be stuck for an hour and a half then again I suppose there's no other time available for shopping in the week

It was a Sunday, and I wasn't aware there was a game until we got there. And no, not really as fans arent supposed to park in the tesco arena car park there shouldn't be an issue getting out. Simple really.

Of course they aren't and city fans don't park there when we're playing do they? Hate Wasps by all means but do you have to complain about every single thing that has anything to do with them?

Fuck off, absolutely nothing to do with me not liking wasps. I'd be complaining about city fans if they had done the same thing to me. But I'm a STH so I'm at the game (I don't and wouldn't park in tesco in courtesy for the people that actually want to shop).

I think its a good thing, football and rugby fans shouldn't be parking there.

To quote Ricky Gervais " Joking aside, Brexit won't make any difference.
The rich will still be rich, the poor will still be poor, and we'll still blame foreigners."
