Seems there was always a need. Ewood Park in the 1920s this - naively I didn't expect people to park as they do now!

Barnsley is the worst car parking in the history of football grounds... Also yes I'm quite surprised by that image

My car door got booted in at Barnsley. Third world Barnsley pricks.

Imagine being 6-0 down, heading out of the stand, only to realise you were one of the first ones to arrive.

Parking should always be set up so those first in get to be the first to leave. Otherwise what's the incentive to arrive early? You get a mad rush nearer kck-off to try and be as late as possible so you can get out first.

Post Covid, I'd love to turn up in a charabanc with a straw boater. Ideal transport to the new ground, what.

Tip your boater and a quick chin chin to the car park attendant as you stroll past .

Reminds me of Brandon on a Saturday night in the seventies - esp for Stox. Jammed in bumper- and door-to-door. No chance of leaving early unless you were on the edge rows.
