First of all, good morning Sky Blue fans! I hope you have all had a good Christmas and are looking forward to today's game against Chesterfield! I'm going for a 2-1 cov win! My name is Sam Ogrizovic, a Coventry fan since birth given that my Uncle Steve, signed for the club a month before I was born... Definitely a life sentence if you ask me! :)

Apologies for using this forum for something other than the usual transfer rumour or SISU bashing, but I wanted to try and bring something positive to all Cov fan's attention. My cousin (Chris, Steve's son) and I, have created a unique charity project, in memory of our late Grandfather Nick Ogrizovic, which will commence on the 1st May to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer's society.

Please see the website for more information about his humbling story and the trek itself - www.papasjourney.com

In a nutshell, our Grandfather left his village in Yugoslavia under gunfire from the Nazis, leaving behind his family, aged just 14 and never returned. We plan on retracing his steps from the family home in Nottinghamshire, to Brlog in Crotia, using just our legs, wits and £20 each.

We will be doing everything we can to get maximum publicity in the Coventry media in the lead up to the event, but any support in the meantime, be it following us on Twitter (@papasjourney), retweeting or sharing our site (www.papasjourney.com) or if you are sufficiently compelled donating via our just giving page (www.justgiving.com/PapasJourney/) would be hugely appreciated. Also, if any media are reading this and want an interview or further information, please contact us by emailing [email protected]

As Coventry fans, at the moment, all we have is fond memories, let's pull together and help protect that by supporting this project and the Alzheimer's society

Thanks for your time in reading this post,

Sam Ogrizovic
