Showcasing all Cov music past and present at the CBS with other local music stars for the Preston game.

Should be good, but Doug not missing a trick - more merchandise and a new shirt available :D

I'm sure we have a new one every week!

Saw the Instagram post this morning, I think it sounds ace and am looking forward to it. Love the local flavour we give the CBS and hope to see more stuff like this in the future!

From the article on the club website:

"The Club will mark the occasion, which also falls on the 45th anniversary of The Specials hit ‘Ghost Town’, with the launch of a one-off limited-edition t-shirt to celebrate Coventry’s musical footprint."

I do love a bit of Bhangra. My main concern would be that its the sort of music that gets you up and dancing...so from a safety point of view, will people who want to show their moves be allowed to bring in their dog to pat and their own lightbulb to change?

The Lover Speaks!

Probably not known by many in Cov but they wrote No More I Love You's, covered by Annie Lennox, of course.

Should play something by The Colourfield too.

honestly, when was tthe last time this was played (has it ever been at the CBS?)

Gives me goosebumps listening to that.. always loved it!.. think it could give WLADITT a run for its money before kick off

Back in the 60's I saw Lieutenant Pidgeon play at Highfield Road before a match. A bit of "mouldy old dough". That's one for us oldies!
A bit of Desperate Dan to follow too.

Used to play a bit of footie at the then Whitley Abbey school on Sunday afternoons with Steve and Nigel.

Rest in peace Steve.
