I think he’s certainly shown exactly why no manager ever trusts him to start games. Decent impact sub, hopeless defensively

Some of his one touch passing is sublime. Really starting to see how increasing the quality around Gyok and O'hare will create chances out of fook all.

If people can't see that he's got talent, they're idiots. Also puts in a shift. The 'disappearing' bit, not sure about, was obviously more influential first half, but I like the bloke. Very unlucky that a couple of cute passes didn't create a goal.

If we had an Armstrong type forward Palmer would have about eleventy billion assists. Vik is always wide and wants the ball to feet so he can dribble pst everyone and Allen and Waghorn run like they’re going through a swimming pool of treacle when latching onto through balls. I reckon Godden or Walker would score a few playing in front of him.

Good news: He can take free kicks!
Bad news: He can’t score from open play or control the ball!

That free kick was a gift from their keeper. Virtually went in in the middle of the goal

Think it was more the fault of the Wrexham wall, which didn't get off the ground.

Bit harsh. Thought Palmer’s set pieces were excellent for the most part yesterday. I’d favour him over Gus now, not least because that can leave Gus on the edge of the box to win the 2nd ball or help defensively if they break.

Yeah, not sure why that was said. His touch is probably the best in the team.

Yeah one goal and hitting the post with the other from two free kicks surely makes him first choice FK taker now

Basics such as the cross for the first goal and scoring the 2nd goal today?
