His defensive work rate has always let him down and leaves us wide open at times with his reluctance to track back .I thought it was very clear that MR’s comments after the game were directed at / specific to Palmer…
I imagine he was told to go out, apply himself, and demonstrate his ability to control the midfield and dictate the pace of play…

Started that way at Stoke but reverted quickly to using a 10.If Palmer leaves and we bring in a deeper lying box-to-box type then it suggests to me we're looking more to play 433 than 4231 and have been forced into the latter due to the absence of quality in the middle to start the season.
Having watched Allen Torp and Eccles play together in midfield, I'd be very worried if KP was allowed to leave.Robins has obviously been trying to get rid as he knows full well he can get more for his money elsewhere. Palmer has talent but is simply not consistent enough in terms of end product.
