we won't get hammered too many times this season but I can't see us dishing out any hammerings either because we can't score goals

2-0 loss, until we can score we ain't going to win. keeps my bet of 10 games without a win going though

Why? Haven't you noticed that every goal Bell scores is a cracker and McSheff got eight last season so why shouldn't he get one?

It's just that they were both so awful on Saturday I thought you might be joking. No problem with having optimism I guess!

maybe a bit - bell can hit them from anywhere, his shot looked the most likely to go in against leicester and the sheff is as likely as anyone else on the pitch to score - we'll see pusb

We normally do quite well at Selhurst Park?

Last games away for City at Selhurst Park

Crystal Palace 2 - 0 Coventry City
Crystal Palace 0 - 1 Coventry City
Crystal Palace 1 - 1 Coventry City
Crystal Palace 1 - 1 Coventry City
Crystal Palace 1 - 0 Coventry City
Crystal Palace 2 - 0 Coventry City
Crystal Palace 1 - 0 Coventry City
Crystal Palace 1 - 1 Coventry City
Crystal Palace 1 - 1 Coventry City
Crystal Palace 3 - 0 Coventry City
Crystal Palace 1 - 3 Coventry City

That's 11 games, 2 victories, 4 defeats and 6 draws. Just 2 wins in 11.

Otis i stand by my point ,out of the 12 games we have only lost 4 of them at Selhurst Park.I think thats a deent record at an away ground.

You're easily pleased then, Rev.

I would say 2 wins in 11 and 5 defeats (it is actually 5 defeats not 4 as I first quoted) is not good.

Otis i'm also thinking when we played Wimbledon at selhurst,i'm sure it's a ground we do better at than most.
But i take your point,it's not great but it's not terrible either. Is Barnsley our lucky ground ? ,there must be a lucky ground for us somewhere in the country !!

There is. We just haven't played there yet.

Maybe in League One.

I reckon Cov will be 1-0 up untill the 90th minute then,as per usual,we'll conceed.
1-1 at 90 minutes, the ref will add on 7 mins of injury time and,yes you've guessed it,we fall for the sucker-punch last minute goal.
Palace 2 CCFC 1

Far fetched i know but this is Cov ..............

And just to update things;

City away at Palace

Crystal Palace 2 - 1 Coventry City
Crystal Palace 2 - 0 Coventry City
Crystal Palace 0 - 1 Coventry City
Crystal Palace 1 - 1 Coventry City
Crystal Palace 1 - 1 Coventry City
Crystal Palace 1 - 0 Coventry City
Crystal Palace 2 - 0 Coventry City
Crystal Palace 1 - 0 Coventry City
Crystal Palace 1 - 1 Coventry City
Crystal Palace 1 - 1 Coventry City
Crystal Palace 3 - 0 Coventry City
Crystal Palace 1 - 3 Coventry City

That's 12 games, 2 victories, 6 defeats and 4 draws.

At least we may not have to play them next season.
