Like him or not Ashley is a very shrewd business man... Probably regretted giving pardew an 8 year contract ..so couldn't sack him .. Now got £2 million + in compensation ... That will buy him another good chunk of rangers..

Before he screws Rangers up and takes them for every last penny then ditches them off. Similar to another club I know

The general view on 5 Live is that he is probably one of the lowest earners in the premier league and that the palace wages will be higher.

The 8 year contract would never had to have been paid up as won't pressleys.

It is a misconception contracts are paid in full. His will be no exception - and there will be clauses as with other sisu managers.
