Two massive, massive games.

What are you all expecting? What are you predicting?

I had us down to draw against Palace and lose to Brum. To my mind 2 draws would be great.

Do we need more than that though, especially bearing in mind that there are 2 away games to come on the bounce following these home fixtures?

If we win aganst brum, we'll have to score at least 2 goals. Marlon will definately score against us.

Given our home form, I'm not ruling out a win against Blues!

Both are now must win games, for every defeat or taking no points away from home we need to win all of our home game

both have similar away records not amazing but not rubbish either so will have to make sure we are up for both games from the start!

Well we haven't been the last few home games.

Think we need to be at them from the start, knock them out of their stride.

Got to win atleast one, always had Birmingham as the home match out of ones left we would lose so a draw for me would be okay, but we must win the rest of our home games. With home games to come against Pompey, Millwall and Donny, despite basically being crap things are very much in our hands

Lose against palace,q doom and gloom.

Then beat brum with a macca pen who runs to the sub bench shouting abuse at clingan saying that's how u f'ing do it!

3/6 keeps us in with a chance

anything less could end our season

anything more could see us out of the bottom 3

but we put too much pressure on ourseves for home games,i think palace might beat us

we will lose at watford and cardiff, meaning these 2 are both must win games. 4 points could just about keep us in touching distance after the 2 away games

Not convinced we will lose at Watford and Cardiff.

It does point to that though unfortunately.

This ever increasing pressure on our home form is going to take its toll eventually I fear.

Ultimately, we need to win all our home games to be in with a chance, and a win away would help.
We always live in hope.

If we win both of these games I will finally believe we can escape, for if we win both we will be out of the bottom 3.

If we beat Palace, I fancy our chances against Brum. Think we could get at least a draw and you never know with our current home form, we might sneak a win. Lose or draw to Palace however and I feel Birmingham may score 3 or 4

i think if we lose against Palace the players' heads will drop and it could be the death knell for us.

i dont mean to be negative but what have you seen to be convinced that we won't lose them both? words cant describe how poor we are away from home, we dont even try and score

No, I do think we will lose.

Do think we may have a chance possibly against Watford though, who will be probably be mid-table with nothing to play for.

Would still say we could possibly only get a draw though.

watford have been doing well recently and we usually get beat down there, we are relying so much on us keeping up this home form, we must give in at some point. the only saving grace is that all the other teams around us aren't picking up many points

2 draws would be brilliant.

Would probably blow my conclusion about us winning at home through luck out of the water too.

Can't believe both Palace and Brum will be below par. Think we will have to play well to draw both games.

I think we'll lose both. I'm looking forward to seeing Zaha, he looks a real live wire. A bit like Nimely but with a far better strike rate.

Odds on that king will score.

Why?

2 draws could mean we are just 1 point behind Bristol City. And we still have them to play.

We'll win Tuesday night, Bristol will lose, thus we climb out of the bottome 3, we can also beat the blues on Saturday IF we play like we did against Leeds...

Doubt we'll win on Tuesday night.

in fact, am prepared to have a little wager with you.

How's no pounds at all sound that we won't win Tuesday night?

otis why are you assuming bristol city will lose both their games?

Hence the word 'could' be 1 point behind.

We could possibly be only one point behind. Also came to that potential scenario based on the fact that Bristol are the one team truly on the slide.

Last results sequence;

Lost 3 nil
Lost 3-1
Lost 3 nil
Drew 2-2
Lost 3 nil
Lost 3 nil.

Pretty easy to suggest that they might well lose their next two matches against very good sides (Leshtur and Cardiff)

i think 2 draws wouldnt help us much at all as it would be 2 home games gone

we need 3 pts minimum imo

I know it will be two home games gone, but if that takes us out of the bottom 3 and Bristol continue their slide we'll be okay won't we? :thinking about:

I stand by what i have said for a while, beat palace lose to birmingham. win all remaining home games then pray that we avoid defeat at bristol city and watford.
May just be enough to keep us up, may not of course.
