This rumor is doing the rounds, young striker from Liverpool and scored against us for Norwich last season.

Maybe the Thomas link with Liverpool would help us get him?

Would certainly be a very good signing if we could get him for the season. He's quick, skilful and has a lot of trickery. Plus he can play up front or just behind the strikers. Who knows, maybe Conor's loan could have helped the relationship between the clubs.

Pretty sure liverpool hate us now after the deal fell through.. not our fault but they will probably hold a grudge for 'wasting their time'

Was it not them who said they didn't want him?

Took his goal well against us in last game of season, although we usually have the opposite effect on players games once they go from playing against us, to playing for us

I thought it was because he got injured, and the rules say if someone on loan gets a long term injury, they need to go back to their parent club.

Jonjo Shelvey and Martin Kelly I heard were the 2 Liverpool players involved in the Adam deal.

Surely you don't mean the recently departed (no, not dead) former Bristol City "winger"?

It's John Jo Shelvey and Danny Ayala going on loan to Birmingham - why would Martin Kelly when he established himself as a first team RB for Liverpool?

Me being a liverpool fan as well as city - I think Pacheco will go back to Norwich or end up at Blackpool as a third loanee. As I have said already - I would rather us loan Suso from Liverpool than Pacheco.

At first I thought no chance Shelvey and Kelly going out on loan - but then when you look at Liverpools signings it's probable that there's no room for Shelvey, but is for Kelly as said by Cov 4 Prem.

It's confusing - 1 saying rumour Pacheco coming here - another saying it's done deal somewhere else,

Pacheco is a great proffesional and deserves a chance at Liverpool to break through, he will not end up here however- if he does he will give 110% to the club.

Whole family supported Liverpool as I grew up, so I had to join the bandwagon. I bought my own season ticket off my own back at 14 and have followed city ever since - but it's hard to get 14 years of supporting a team out of you!

Pacheco, not much of him 10st & 5' 6". Hope not another Freddie Sears. & along with Jake Livermore, another inexperienced lad. Surely there are better deals to be done with a slightly more experienced player from Division One? Somebody that is on say £1500 and wants to earn £3,000 and play in championship. The players are there, ask Bobby Gould. But if Pacheco & Livermore come I'll support them.

Could be a good signing young player with prospect only problem would be wages.

I agree, but he seems more likely to be going to a club who can challenge for promotion rather than one that could be about to file for administration and might not even be around by the end of the season. Now that's gloom and doom!

On FM 2011 (or is it 2010?) you can steam to promotion with Coventry by buying pretty much just buying Marlon Harewood and not selling anyone. Someone shoulda told SISU!
