We commented today how much better it was than it normally is.To be fair it sounded a lot better over Christmas when JD wasn't the compere
Can hardly hear it or make sense of wherever I am in the ground.Can hardly hear it in block 17

I notice they don’t try to interview the guest payer at half time anymore. I was wondering if this was because of the state of the PA system. Can’t hear the interviews in Block 20
My theory is that having the PA turned up to 11, particularly just before kick off, kills the atmosphere, rather than generates it. Let the crowd make the noise, not the PA... Just mho. I'm old now.
Absolutely. The people in the concourse don’t hear it. Therefore they are not likely to complain. But there are times when the fans in 10-17 are trying to raise an atmosphere (10 mins to KO) and it is stubbed out by the very loud PA. When will the nutter turning the volume actually make an effort to check the noise levels out.
