They are mixing up volume and clarity. The latter is the prerequisite.Curiously me and a friend I sit with have always moaned that we've never been able to understand anything from the pa system (a bit like the old WW2 bomber pilot Carling BL advert - if your old enough) since the stadium opened, not just volume but terrible quality. It seems it's been turned up and it's almost audible in the last few games.
Also the "glitch" graphic on the names when they're reading out the teamsheet is so overdone, the announcer goes too quick for it and it just looks a mess because they have to cycle through faster than the animation is going.

It’s a silly new rule. It slows the game down. Give each of them a ball and the nearest rolls it to the player.Most fans don't realise they are only allowed to put the ball back on the cones. It is down to players to get the ball.
