Surely if the players contracts were transferred between Ltd and Holdings Ltd, they would have a new employer and would have been issued a P45? Should be straightforward to find out???

Normally that would be the case, but not so in this instance i think...good thinking though.
The players contracts were probably just rolled over into the new company, meaning their employment was continous.
The only difference to the players would be payslip details-change of employers name and paye reference.

Player registrations are different from player contracts.
Allegedly, the players registrations are in CCFC (with the golden share) and player contracts now in holdings...what a mess.
The registrations have been in Holdings since around early 2012. Not aware of where the contracts are. Registrations have to be with the golden share.
Interestingly the registrations and share should also be within the same company that holds the ownership/lease/mortgage on the stadium. Would imagine it's the same for the contracts too.
