I think he died just a few months after the Trophy final didn't he? Glad he got to see one final success before his death.

He also was a presenter on Mercia back in the 80s apparently

With regards to the PA I can’t remember it ever being up to standard. Compared to other stadiums in our league and below it’s very poor.

Jim was a mate of mine in The Chestnut Tree and a regular poster on here. Top bloke and all City . We spent many boozy hours going over the fortunes and failings of our beloved football club. Sadly missed.
