Well getting one back from a penalty is nice but scant consolation for the horror story of today.

Biggest waste of time I can think of. 45 minutes sleep after a 12 hour night shift to watch this pile of shite.

I have only seen 1 game under Venus that wasn't a lucky result. That was at Millwall. No pride. No passion. And it seemed at times no effort. Nearly 6 1/2 hours and nearly 300 miles each way for this crap? Reality check has hit home. Already at hotel. Few hours kip and journey home. Utter shambles. Not going again until we have a proper manager.

Possible we could be back in the bottom four after Tuesday. Just one point outside the drop zone now. MK Dons have Chesterfield at home and Chesterfield are rock bottom.

Thought we had seen the back of the bottom four, but it is starting to loom a little bit large once more.

we can only hope stokes is back asap and is still the player he was before the injury , back to basics, 442 , and we need more confidence from a more mature keeper who can guide the defence and the defence will listen to. This is what you get from loanees and short contracted players at the end of their career, we need to start using our contracted players as come january we may hav no choice not to play them . What an absolute mess this club is in ,

Switched the phone-in off, too depressing.

The difference between this time last year and now is staggering

Gutted about this result. I've been busy most of the afternoon, and actually forgot what day it was. Only checked this thread just before full time, really wish I hadn't. Seems like a game to forget. Reading through here, must have been up there as one of the worst games so far this season.

I'm starting to think having a manager that's named after a planet isn't a good idea.

It was fun while it lasted.

I think a hammering has been coming really. The midfield is hopelessly weak and teams are going to eventually decide to prevent space.

The players all, with the exception of Stevenson, cannot move the ball forward at all. It's short square or diagonal passing. There is no support for the defence at all. I'm amazed we've not had this much until now.

We've got big problems. Few of these players are up to standard. We have one goal scorer. The two wide players are not consistent at all. We have a powder puff midfield that has no energy or drive. The back lines ok but the team is always vulnerable if put under pressure.

The games coming up are difficult. What's more difficult to see is where the options are in the squad,

Venus needs to step aside. Not the answer.

Thought MVs post match comments were (if honest) worrying. Along the lines of -we are where we ought to be, players too young etc. Fine calling it as you see it, but unless he is trying to get SISU to free up some funds by pointing out how weak we are, it can't be instilling much confidence in the players. I think any team we put out including Wright, Lameiras and Vlad at the moment is asking fro trouble (too weak) and combined with the inconsistency of a several others is a recipe for failure. January - lose the 2 forward loanees, then invest in a permanent centre back, permanent central midfielder (to replace McCann) and find ourselves a striker to complement Sordell.
