Morning Sky Blues,

just a note to say thank you for all the supporters who took the time to write in support of the new Oxford United stadium. On Thursday, Cherwell District Council approved planning on the project 14 - 1 (probably our best ever result!). The club expects to get spades in the ground in the spring 2026, with an 18 month build.

Thank you again, we really appreciate it,

Hopefully Oxford United are safe from any interference from him now that it's agreed by Cherwell District Council and referred onto the Secretary of State for planning approval.

No that's West Oxford.
Will be handy for me to jump on the bus outside my house and get off at Parkway - sorted!

Has it got integrated travel included in the plan, like a train or other services timed to serve the fans needs,to save money for your pocket, then the club will use their imagination to get it from you rather than some parking company.?

Although it’s across the road from Oxford Parkway, this station is only accessible for journeys from the South. From the north it’s either change at Oxford central then to Parkway or change at Bicester North, walk to Bicester Village and it’s then a couple of stops to Parkway.

Very best of luck to you.
Might be back for some tips on how to go about getting a new stadium if Mr Ashley dosn't play ball.
