Too many wayward passes. No fluency to the game

Stokes goes down in agony after colliding with number 10 who was weaving his way through getting clogged by most of our defence but ref tries to play advantage. Both players go on to receive treatment. Good to see he didn't back out the challenge but he may have caused himself a mischief in the process

His only involvement has been taking goal kicks I think

I wouldn't be so concerned if we weren't scoring playing Championship sides or something moderately similar. However not scoring against the likes of Nuneaton, Cambridge, Leamington and Oxford is absolutely pathetic. Genuinely we could get an XI of lads from here and probably give those teams a game.

Me not included in the XI however, but the point stands.

Swanson came out to the dug out second half but has just limped back down to the dressing rooms

Penalty skied by their number 10. Couldn't happen to a nicer player

Still hasn't come back down

Agreed. Bet a talented lad like Armstrong can't wait for his loan spell to end

It's alright, it's only pre season. Plenty of time to get the shooting boots warm! How funny will it be if we beat Wigan next week, this site will go into bloody meltdown.

Tudgay stripped and ready to come on.

Armstrong makes the keeper pull off another save.

Reminds me of last pre season. We're absolutely toothless by the sounds of it.

Long range effort parried by Burge (bounced just in front so atleast he got the party I guess).

Ball stays in play, second shot from just outside the area, hits the post

Genuinely you couldn't, a sky blue talk 11 would get hammered against all those teams.

How many goals have we scored in pre season? Everyone can stop giving it 'its only pre season' line now, we can't score goals. If you can probably only sneak a goal a game then you're going to want a strong backline and experienced goalkeeper but we haven't got that. I will always give TM credit where its due and therefore I will critisize him where I see fit to. He hasn't adressed our two main issues: goals and a solid goalkeeper it seems.

Yes. The fact is we will struggle to compete without an experienced forward.

The midfield never contributes towards goals so their is an over reliance on forwards.

Sort of a 4 3 2 1. Since Tudgay has come on, Maddison has come nearer to the right and Tudgay the left with Arsmstrong just ahead of them

They've hit the post twice. Had a goal disallowed and missed a penalty. We've had 1 shot

Tudgay with a long range shot but was a bit of a grass cutter. Easy save

Some muscle and height required up front and someone who can carry the ball from midfield.

Let me guess, pre season means nothing? Bollocks. Maybe the first one but not one a week before our first game. So, you're confident we'll beat Wigan despite scoring 2 goals against poor opposition? A promoted team scores 70-80 goals, where on earth are they coming from?
