Let’s move on from Saturday.

Chance to get another win on the board, and potentially a big draw with the European qualifiers entering next round.

I’d like to see Bassette play.

Yeah and I think we can still put our a very strong team, even with changing things significantly.

I would like to see Thomas and Kitching back in for this one and maybe give Dasilva a go at left back.

We could also give Assante-Thomas and Mason-Clark a start and that would still be a very strong looking side to put out.

I don’t think you will be too far off with that team @procdoc

My only thought, given that Lati played quite well yesterday, is whether MR will want to rest him. We are short of an obvious replacement at RB, so it would probably have to be Eccles as he has played there before.

I guess that leaves Palmer to fill the gap in midfield. Obviously not as a like for like replacement for Eccles, so perhaps alongside Bassett and EMC.

I’d fancy Bassette, EMC and Sheaf to get minutes off the bench

I still don’t get the silly rules about how much you can change your team.

Don't think they apply for this do they? It's the EFL trophy which has the numerical requirements.

Goes to show where we are lacking. We can freshen up our keeper, CBs, LB, AM and front 3. Both Latibeudiere and Eccles should not be considered cover for RB imo. They both played a full game yesterday. If Burroughs had stayed he would be the natural choice.
DCM is the other area where we are short. Kai Andrews isn't a DM but I would give him a start.

Would like to see at least ones of Eccles/Torp get a rest, probably Palmer in for one of them.

I doubt if he will play such a strong team as that, as I’m sure he will want to rest quite a few of the first choices. They will be available from the bench if required.

I would love to agree with you but I can’t.

The only other choice is MVE and I can’t see MR starting him against Oxford.

It has to be Lati or Eccles and for the reason I gave above I would prefer that it be Eccles.

I’d give EMC a start against Norwich and rest MvE both can get half an hour here. Hopefully a CM in by Norwich and Sheaf able to play a part.

Didn’t realise Norwich had Palace away, They’re likely to play a full strength side right? Plus a fair amount of travel. Should do us a favour.

I would be surprised if Norwich put out a full strength team , the league cup would not be a priority for them.

Cant imagine our fans being happy to put a reserve team out against a PL side regardless of the competition.

Question for the ITKs

Purchased a ticket (using my ID number, but due to my iffy phone/club's website, I selected a ticket close to (but not) my ST seat.
Will the ticket be allocated to my ST card and allow me entry, as I haven't (yet) received an email ticket (just an acknowledgement). Slightly confused (as per!)

Torp needs games. There’s a player in there but still needs to adapt.

My guess would be pick up your ticket from the ticket office, don't think they can put a different seat on your season card and they stopped posting them out on Wednesday I think.

So am I.

I just hope that we fans are patient with him. He’s young and has just moved to a new club in a (to him) foreign country.

There is a lot for him to get accustomed to, including our style of play. We need to let him settle and not get on his back if he doesn’t perform like Lionel Messi from day one.

Nobody expects that. Prime Alan Shearer will suffice.

That sounds great.

My wife sings in several choirs. She was singing the services at St Paul’s cathedral last weekend with Leicester Church Music Consort.

They are doing Worcester and York Minster next year
