If Wright is on the bench I would have thought Paterson is as likely to drop out as anyone.

I thought you’d be looking at Norman tbh

Norman is more of an asset at the moment than Paterson

Maybe but my thinking is with the amount of crosses we play and Wright bulking up according to the players, I think he’ll be playing in the centre.

If so don’t see the reasoning on having three strikers on the bench plus imagine Patersons experience in the locker room and on the bench is a plus.

If he’s coming to play on the left, then I’d agree Bassette makes more sense

Reading Oxford are struggling for left backs. I like Tats to score or assist at 7/4. Also think Kitchen is due a goal soon, he is 12/1 to score anytime.

Wait Wright has bulked up? He’s gonna be a fucking beast if so, gonna bully defences and gun for the golden boot which he could still win if he comes back firing

Is the Sakamoto comment, and the Oxford squad situation at right back, unrelated? Because Sakamoto would normally attack the opposition left back.

haji can play on the left so guessing Patterson drops out the squad, must be every managers dream having to drop good players from even the matchday squad, no time for sentiment, allens been one of our best players but Lampard will pick what he thinks is the best 11, could even see him dropping simms for wright once he’s fully fit, might upset a few players, but then fight your way back in, looking good for the run in

Cant Paterson play on the right too? I doubt he will get dropped. He's fairly universal in various forward roles

Think he can play left and right wing, and attacking midfield. Does mean he’s quite versatile

First timer to Oxford. What's it like getting out of the big car park after? Any more favourable alternatives? Don't mind walking a bit.

Nearly every impartial prediction site predicts a win tomorrow. I’ve got to Frank credit too, he does install confidence when he speaks.

can see a CB left out,, likely Binks as Lati can cover RB as well

DaSilva more likely? Binks can play LB if needed. Gives us more flexibility formation wise too.

I agree with you but Binks/Kitching could possibly be used there. I do think JDS most likely stays and a centre mid drops off probably.

Can't see this. Dasilva has 200+ games in this position. How many have either Kitchin or Binks played? Too much of a gamble!

Yeah i don't think it's likely, hence saying JDS probably keeps a place on the bench

Maybe. Binks played there vs Luton and was solid though.

I just do not rate JDS one bit he's a liability, especially in a 4.

It was Kitching and he was not a success, subbed immediately after half time.

He played as the left side defender in a back 3 and Rudoni played left sided wing back.
It's on YouTube and you can see that City are still playing 3 at the back.

Don't think we have to worry about a League One side, to be honest

I’m going for a silly score in this. 5-2 or 4-1. We’re well over due one and so are Oxford a goal or 2.
