Personally just need to match or better a Blackburn or West Brom result. With their matches, we have a real advantage.

They lose we lose?

What we do need is to win. Three teams below us would go past us if they win we lose. The teams below this are out of the race unless they put a winning run together. Norwich are one of these three and they play Blackburn.

A win would most probably put us in the top 6. The only thing that could stop this would be for Blackburn to beat Norwich and WBA to beat Leeds. It could well put us 2 points clear of 7th with Stoke at home and Derby away to follow.

I wouldn’t bet against us winning the next 3 and be breathing down the neck of Sunderland when we host them. The atmosphere would be electric.

We're already on an incredible run. You have to accept the defeat to Leeds as they're a level above everyone else. But we're now going into games with our opponents hoping to nick a point. All this without a full strength side since last year.

I hope we have Wright back by the Sheffield United and Burnley games. Then have Wright firing on all cylinders for the playoffs.

With our current form, Haji’s injury could be a blessing bf in disguise. He comes back at the right time to be match fit for the playoffs but fresh enough because he’s missed a good 1/3 of the season. Whereas Vik was visibly tired in the playoffs back in 22/23 where both he and Hamer needed injections to get through games.

With this incredible run of form, the realistic expectation is top 6. There’s a reason the bookies have us 5th favourites to go up now because our form, and the teams we play favour us finishing 5th because Sunderland are probably out of reach.

Just a heads up for people in the home end. They are checking names against tickets and cross referencing them with purchase history at Coventry City. Just had tickets cancelled

It's a shame if its true that one of our posters went on their forum to give them the heads up on our fans buying tickets in their end. Not sure what was he was hoping to achieve!

Saw someone say theirs have been cancelled with no refund... ouch but it's the risk you take

Annoying that someone has dobbed people in just to score brownie points with another fanbase and I presume CCFC had no choice but to co-operate with cross referencing to keep relations cordial

Harsh that there is no refund if true. seems a bit wrong to me no different to these youtubers who visit other grounds and sit with the home fans

This is why you shouldn't go on opposition message boards
It starts with 'I'll just take a quick look'.

Next you read something contentious that you can't resist responding to so you create a log in

Before you know it you're giving away state secrets about infiltration of the home end.

And the final stage, after some abusive back and forth, you start trying to be freinds with the natives, or to give it its medical term- astuteitis

You only have to read the Sunderland forum to see how one or two of ours have mastered the art of brown nosing.
lord Haw Haw would be proud of them

@Nick how hard would it be to steal their member level thing where it equates you to a past player? Thinking we could scale posts and reaction score to say appearances and goals and pick someone from a list but don’t know how much effort that is behind the scenes. Obviously I’d be Clarrie Bourton

They’re such an odd bunch. At the highest level they can ever possibly get to and they’re miserable. Mid table in the championship is a huge achievement for a team like Oxford.

When I was on there they kept harping on about some league cup game we had against them in 2018. Must have been one of the biggest games in their history. I fear if they beat us on Saturday they may live off it forever.

I’ve got a ticket in the home end so my mate can have mine. Should be fun

Easy, would just need to work out a list of players and then post counts.

this is completely rubbish. for those that want to chance it (perhaps for a 2nd time) it appears you should only purchase with name/address that is not linked to coventry city previous purchase history.
tbf to the oxford lot posting they don't seem fussed there will be some cov fans in the home end but it only takes one to read it and email the club

Won't every club be using the same ticket managing platform? The cross matching would be easy; wouldn't even need the address.

I live near Oxford and assumed had I bought a home end ticket my address would look kosher, but it looks like I would have been caught by a cross matching exercise.

I had decided that I could not rely on myself to keep stum during the game and so had decided not to risk it

Just give a false name and a family member address who doesnt go to city games.
What if my mate or wife was an Oxford supporter and we wanted to sit together so bought tickets in the home end.
This just seems wrong especially not giving people their money back either

A tougher game than most think our attitude has to be spot on so we don't go there thinking it will be easy they are fighting to survive and I think they will.

I went on their forum ( not posting) and one of their posters referred to 'a Cov mate' who had told him some of our fans had purchased tickets in the home end. Don't recall reading a City fan on there, spouting about it.
