How long ago was it they said about POTG? I am sure we have had discussions about it and Ticketmaster etc a few times?

First home game of the season, looks like it'll be a nice sunny evening and people are moaning about things that were announced months ago.

I wonder how much of this negativity transfers onto the more casual fans and puts them off going?

That's as maybe but ,the fact remains CCFC fans are paying more than Away fans tonight . it's not on !! feel free to ignore the thread if it's too negative for you .

If you're so concerned about your pound why don't you see how you get on trying to pay £15 to get in the Pompey end tonight.

First explicit mention on CCFC website of no POTG for Portsmouth was last Friday. Happy to be proven wrong.

Stick £5 on baker to score and your ticket will be free tonight

Stick £10 on it and it will pay for the car park as well

So why aren't you ignoring CCFC? Why do you brag about not giving any money, slag off people that do and then moan about investment?

Typical really.

If we are having problems trying to get 6000 or so into the ground tonight imagine if it was 25000 plus , be the fans fault again, there is no excuse for giving someone like me who has gone for years and years a reason not to be arsed , the fact that I don't want to put another hour on my visit when I only go out of habit anyway is where a lot of fans are , i will be surprised after you have queued for your ticket at the ticket office you don't have to queue again at the turnstile , maybe if even less people go the queues will be smaller

So there was a thread on 27th June? You are assuming people come into this forum for ticket info?? Why didn't CCFC put it on their website, where majority of their customers would be more likely to see it?

Sadly, fans seem to moan out of habit as well. Get there an hour early, miss the traffic, it would have taken a few mins to get your ticket, get to the casino and enjoy the atmosphere and then head to your seat.

Enjoy life !

Can't comment on that, I'm just saying that's when it was public. No idea when they first said it.

Too much work to search off phone

Edited. Point was that CCFC web site - i.e. the official club communication channel - only first mentioned on 5th August that no cash turnstiles would be open for Portsmouth match.

Perhaps you can point out in that article exactly where it states "no cash turnstiles will be open on the day of the game"??

Yes and could be argued this infers no POTG. But wouldn't it be so much easier to say in addition, no POTG?? Simple communication. Would go a long way!
