As a side note, Ive often though away fans at all games should pay less, as (on average) it costs them more to get to the game.

Bob, you can save even more money by cancelling your internet connection.

Not all of our supporters have paid a booking fee. I certainly didn't.

How did you avoid paying it then ?

The owners aren't ripping you.

The ticket money today is going to Portsmouth as well.

Even so, you sit there in your fake shirt ranting about investment while you have a go at people going to the game and calling them mugs...

As have I, which seems to just get ignored.

It's ok though, you can just reply saying I must be happy with SISU or something as standard. I get the level we are at. It's the everybody go absolutely mental without looking on Google or checking so we have a reason not to go to games but we will still go mental about no investment into the club...

Got it when they went on sale. They were going to add them to the season ticket cards so no postage etc.

Surely , pay the same as the home fans so it would even itself out over the season if you go home and away ?

Not going tonight , first home game , (sixfield aside) I have missed in years , people can have a go at anyone who has a moan , but as much as I detest the council, the reason I'm not going tonight is Sisu and that's a fact

The same fans that were probably annoyed the first time the Ticketmaster news came out?

Ripped off? Portsmouth fans are paying the same booking fee as been stated on this thread. Fans complain about ticket service. Deal done with ticketmaster. This involves having to pay for the service. A £1 charge is applied for using the service. Not grossly unreasonable. Pay a lot more on concert tickets with ticketmaster. Give it a rest Bob, your moany negative made up rants are weary and tiresome.

Be annoyed that there isn't pay on the gate, be annoyed that season tickets are not available after the season starts. They are genuine reasons, not some spurious rumour that turns out to be incorrect.

No cash turnstiles will knock at least a few hundred off of the attendance. Well done City - poor. #PUSB

Did people really not know about booking fees ages ago? Some seem to be surprised about Ticketmaster.

What is your point?

People knew there was no pay on the gate a while ago didn't they?

I suddenly feel what it is like for old people when fashion comes back around.

30th June I think it was the fees about buying in person were said.

In fairness, TM shouldn't get anything until they sort out print at home.

Out of interest, do Wasps opponents pay any sort of processing fee?

The thing that I'm surprised about is the fact that when your main source of income is tickets as sisu have constantly bang on about , why you would let a third party make a profit of your customers , and at the same time pissing them off

Because that is how Ticketmaster works isn't it? The same as it does for Wasps and other clubs who use it?

Their ticket system was no good, and it was probably the best option compared to having one made etc and they would have already had the Ricoh in there from Wasps. So it would also work with the print at home stuff.

Nick, you keep mentioning the print at home option, yet it didn't seem to be available for tonights match. Maybe it will for league games?

Apparently at the end of the week / start of the next.

14th july this was posted: http://www.ccfc.co.uk/news/article/...coventry-city-portsmouth-efl-cup-3185637.aspx

There is no processing fee for e-ticket purchases. All other transactions incur a £1 processing fee per ticket. Season Ticket holders can choose to load the match ticket purchase to their Season Ticket card/account.

But ticketmaster have screwed up the card and eticket.

But wasps aren't complaining about there share of food and beverage or car parking , Coventry had a system ,and have changed 3 or 4 times each time making it worst , while complaining the main source of income isn't enough , don't know about waps ticketing and to be fair don't really care ,

I think some anger has been whipped up today.

We knew about Ticketmaster
We knew about no pay on the gate
We knew about matchday charges

Although I think people have put them together to go batshit mental a 2nd time around.

First home game of the season, looks like it'll be a nice sunny evening and people are moaning about things that were announced months ago.

I wonder how much of this negativity transfers onto the more casual fans and puts them off going?
