OK, I know this isnt a CCFC link, however hes a midfielder ive always rated. Out of Favour at Palace? Could he be a suitable replacement for Gunnar as it doesnt look like hes going to sign??

Decent when young but hasn't kicked on. Rumours he's a bit lazy/Thorntonesque off the pitch, hence he gets moved on pretty regularly.

Brighton boss Gus Poyet is signing midfielder Owen Garvan from old enemies Crystal Palace in a surprise £250,000 deal.
Garvan is being allowed to leave by Eagles chief Dougie Freedman who is willing to trade him to bring in cash for targets of his own.
The former Ipswich prospect makes the short move to the newly-promoted Seagulls in a rare transfer between two clubs with an intense dislike of each other.
