No you don't. I signed up successfully from Portugal with a UK e-mail and Visa card. And you don't have to give your home address.

Or could this be tested out during tomorrow's friendly game?I'd advise anyone planning on trying to get this working with a VPN waiting until after the first game of the season before they commit any money towards it. You don't want to spend £110 on something that might not work so best for someone to test it first.
