With Bristol losing 4-0 to Leeds, if they lose to Preston and we draw with Boro will that mean we now finish above them?

Just think if Collins had not messed up again, we would been on the same points as Bristol City but moved above them after tonight as we have scored more goals than them.

We would have moved above them at 3-0 on goals scored in this scenario

Didn't realise Preston are only 1 point above Hull, so at least they have something to play for in Sat .

Trying not to think about it, or the Norwich collapse, just shows every point we’ve thrown away is massive

Portsmouth away, Luton, conceding last min at home to Shef Wed so many occasions where we should already have had a play off place wrapped up. Yet as poor as we have been away from home recently we still are in it

We’ve put 5 goals past Sunderland this season… on head-to-head, recent form, and since Lampard came in, we’ve been a better team than them.

So here is how I have it for the final day:

COV WIN
5th
Bristol DRAW/LOSE
Millwall DO NOT WIN by 5 more goals than us
6th
Bristol WIN
Millwall DO NOT WIN by 5 more goals than us
OR
Bristol DRAW/LOSE
Millwall WIN by 5 more goals than us
7th
Bristol WIN
Millwall WIN by 5 more goals than us
COV DRAW
5th
Bristol LOSE
Millwall DRAW/LOSE
Blackburn DRAW/LOSE
6th
Bristol LOSE
Millwall OR Blackburn WIN
OR
Bristol DRAW/WIN
Millwall AND Blackburn LOSE
7th
Bristol DRAW/WIN
Millwall OR Blackburn WIN
COV LOSE
Finish 7th or below at a minimum as Boro overtake us

Not sure about everyone else but I would rather play Sheff United over two legs than anyone else.

Cant deal with the heartbreak of losing at Wembley again.

I know its one game at Wembley and anything could happen, but lets be honest they have the players to batter us (just like they did at their place).

If we did beat them, id fancy us to win at Wembley.

We just need to win, don't think we can rely on anyone for anything. If we do win then i can see a world we get 5th, Preston won't be easy for Bristol City and bizarrely have lost less games than our opponents. Could see them grinding out a draw in their time of need which would probably be enough to keep them up with everything else going on down there.

Lampard shouldn't be telling them all week you don't win you can all get yourselves a new club and fuck off. They have blown the chance to be playing Saturday already in the play offs.Dont think we will win the play offs anyway but at least it will be an exciting time if we make top 6 again.

There is always the Sky feed on screens in the concourse.

The guys who sit next to me get access on Vodaphone but O2 is dead.

One of the dads in the playground (An Arsenal fan) asked me I thought we'd make the playoffs.

I confidentially announced - "Yeah - we should be fine"

Not quite sure where that came from - but my spontaneous burst of calm and rationale thinking has lifted my mood.

We'll beat Boro. We'll need some luck/form/strategy to get past two decent teams in the play-offs - but its certainly not impossible

this.

Irrelevant how we got here, league is shit, we are shit etc etc - so what.

One game, win that then move on. You will never be ready to go up, take the chance when it comes, we have a chance.

I'm on 02 and can't get any access. My son on Three can, so will be checking on his phone during the game.
