Just checked whos out of contract in the summer

Is it bad that i would only offer Fadz and Rose a Contract and bin the rest off?

problem is Bidwell is then our only defender

Agree - and Rose only earned a new deal in last few weeks in my view. 6 weeks ago I would have released him too. But he's been excellent lately.

I think Dabo will get back to his old self and we'll offer him a new contract.
I'd bin everyone else bar Fadz and Rose.

Taking McFadz age into consideration, none of that lot are rock solid first teamers so on that basis all of them

I agree and would also look to get Godden off the books as well. Dabo is one of my favourite players but I just don’t think he’s good enough for where we’re looking to get to.

There will be others in the reserves as well like Reid, it will be a summer if change hopefully we have the money to bring in better than that lot. I would keep Rose and bin the rest.

I suppose the problem is, assuming the budget stays around the same, it’s 10 players out for probably three or four established championship players in pounds and pence. Need a squad so I imagine Dabo, Fadz, Rose and Wilson likely gets deals.

If Doug Dinsah does buy the club and injects millions then obviously the landscape changes and you can almost start again.

Id argue that since midway through first season back in this league hes been pretty average at best and injury prone

I genuinely wouldn't mind if he went. Burroughs shows a lot more promise in that position and Dabos pushing 30 now

With Kane almost certain to go we really need 2 players for that position so don't see it as a choice between him and Burroughs but rather keep them both.

I am discounting Eccles for that position as I see him as a midfielder.

Just Rose.

Dabo looked a shell of the player since his multiple injuries & age catching up on Fadz.

The rest just not good enough if we want to push forward.

I'd keep.

Rose - 2/3 year deal.
Fadz - 1 year deal
Dabo - 2 year deal (Yes he is injury prone, but is an asset and with Burroughs emerging we have adequate competition)
Wilson - 2 Year deal - Based on the condition he will be a No 2, and we bring in a No 1, and sell Moore.

I am sure they will try and ship out Kane & Waghorn in January as we may get a small transfer fee. Bapaga seems to have stalled, but is still only 20. Maybe a 1 year deal.

Rose, Fadz and Dabo, however the back line needs strengthening in quality and depth. We have lost Hyam. Panzo and Doyle will return to their parent clubs. Robins has highlighted there isnt much coming through the age groups currently. We currently need 2 or 3 new Cb's, a right back better than Dabo, who remains as back up, another left back also.
