So what's it going to be called then for when the season starts? Just been asked and I've gone a bit dumb on giving an answer :facepalm: City of Coventry Stadium? Ricoh still? new sponsor?

Ricoh, until like 2018 or something. According to some sponsorship deal with Ricoh

It's a shame SISU don't sponsor our ground. We could call it City Of Coventry Stadium still. Although COCS might be a bit more polite than some would like to call them.

Funny thing is that Ricoh were matchday sponsor for the Cardiff friendly earlier today.

Okay, maybe not that funny.

well, after some thought i have come up with this..

1) we are owned by SISU
2) we were the 1st stadium where you didnt have to pay with money
3) we dont pay out rent


so, perhaps we should go with "THE CASHLESS STADIUM"

I think Ricoh may have extended the original deal, I'm sure someone posted that up on here a while back.

EDIT: Here it is

Ricoh signed a 10-year sponsorship deal for the naming rights of the stadium back in 2005 after Jaguar pulled out and have since then extended it for another 10 years until 2025.
