Personally I wouldnt have changed the defence that only conceeded two goals in 270 minutes of footy. And was part of the team that scored 7 in the same time frame. Not unless I had to.

We have been lucky not to concede a lot more.

The woodwork has saved us a goal in every match since Port Vale.
Every team, Port vale, Chesterfield, Crewe, Wallsall, and Burton have the woodwork. So in that sense we have a bit fortunate could have been worse.

Goals have also dried up barring the Crewe Game.

I think RCC
Ricketts RB
Ramage CB
Martin CB
Stokes LB

Is a good back four at this level?

Facts are the facts though.
Stokes did very well during those ganes at CB.
Haynes got called steady Eddie by TM.
We then go and shake it up but leave the one player who wasn't on top of his game in.

Trouble is, Eddie the Eagle Edwards was an Eddie too.

Besides, wouldn't TM have said the lad did well rather than call him a steady Eddie? Doesn't that sort of hint at him just being average at best?

Martin must be due back soon anyhow? Any idea how his injury is progressing?

Let's have it right Philips is our 4th choice right back behind Ricketts, Willis, Swedish chef. He is young kid with about 20-30 league games experience and been thrown in at the deep end due to a lot of injuries. It's not surprising he's making the odd mistake. He might never be good enough but let's have a bit of patience with him.
