It's all too disparate, it makes getting people singing too hard.
I'm a perfect example of the kind of fan you need to get singing. I love singing, but am socially awkward/sober enough that I won't do it on my own. I very rarely sing at the Ricoh because I'm just on the edge of CET. However if everyone was closer together I'd be more likely to sing and at away games I sing for 90 minutes.
So much more could have been done to improve the atmosphere at The Ricoh.

Whenever we started performing, last season is a good example, the Ricoh sounded good, like Walsall at home, everyone was singing and there was only 13000 there.

Oh sure it helps, I just think it's not necessary. There's a lot of chicken and egg talk when it comes to fans support and the team playing well, but I think that there's conditions that can create good support before the team starts playing well (from there it's up to the team to carry it on)
