I'd argue they were both holding each other too. Always say, if you have to draw a fucking line then it's level. Should be judged with the naked eye.Not sure how it stopped the defender from getting to the ball. He wasn't even looking at the ball and had no idea until it was in the net

The offsides should be judged by a panel of 3, no lines, no tech just the freeze frame of when the ball was kicked. Give em 5 seconds to decide. Majority decision either way wins.Very similar point to the one I’ve made in respect of cricket’s ’umpires call’ margin. They know the tech isn’t exact so have left power with the official. Football continually pretends it’s an exact science. Make the lines a certain thickness, if when you put them on a screen they’re touching then it stays with the on-field decision.
