My submission to the LSC prediction league sees us claiming 84 points, which would not only be enough for 4th place based on last season's L1 table but is also more than double our own points total from last season....am I being optimistic?

I would put your prediction as about right.

I would say above 3rd optimistic, below 6th pessimistic. There are a few clubs with decent players, but not much backup when players are injured. Yeovil are one of these clubs. There are even more clubs without what we would call decent players, but they have more cover. We have some decent players, but we also have cover. A lot of this season will be down to who has injuries to their players and who plays who when. We are playing Yeovil when they are at their strongest. They will not be a walkover.

Once again we go into the new season with 4-5 players on the injury list (Not kicked a ball in anger yet) and who tops the list?......Bellend!!!:jerkit:

Not going to make any such predictions to be honest.

I did predict a final table position of 14th, but there are so many factors. Will the team gel, how will do do for injuries, how will we adapt to a physical league such as this? Will AT have learned from his mistakes and be a better manager for it?

Who knows.

Trouble is for me, when you look back to our last winning season you have to go back a long long way and I think the mentality of the club itself is one of a losing mentality.

We need to blow those cobwebs away.
