Listening to Thursday's forum, and attending last nights(Friday)- I didn't get to ask the question about the Brentford model that Mr Fisher quoted.

I recognise that the football model and the business model are not mutually exclusive and so am very quizzical to hear more on the "Brentford" plan and what it means for the aspirations of the club. If SISU plan to build another stadium for the quoted £30-£35million I wouldn't expect that stadium to be anything other than a modest affair- probably 15000+/- capacity tops- which in turn surely limits CCFC forever to be at best a Championship club rather than as we all hope back into the Premier league- by default then SISU do not seek to realise the potential of the city-only to accrue some form of return, as Mr Fisher said last evening making the club 'attractive to purchase' seems to be a fundamental objective of the plan to move away from the Ricoh.

I had hoped like us all I am sure that CCFC could become a Norwich, Swansea, Southampton or Cardiff.. rising from obscurity of the lower leagues to the heady heights of the Premier League...but SISU's lack of vision and sheer bloody mindedness now seems to forever limit our potential outlined by the "Brentford" plan.. and whilst I think accountability for the present situation in part lies at the other parties door.. for the limiting nature of their vision I hold SISU as primarily culpable, and for that I cannot forgive them.

*Note all due respect to Brentford.

Operation on field mediocrity & off field pantomime is working well under SISU's guidance.

In last nights forum TF tried to use Brentford's current development plan of building a new stadium to justify SISU's hare brained proposals to build their own stadium. He got shouted down.

Brentford is of course a perennial D3/4 London club & by no means the size of City, it also owns assets of an existing ground in a prime area of London it can sell to finance the build and its fan base support the plan, so the comparison isn't realistic in any case.

The full bullshit can be read here http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/football/football-news/sky-blues-chief-tim-fisher-4065237

ahh right. personally, i love brentfords ground. the terrracing, the pub on each corner. i'd advise extending it if possible. But with a population of 6,000 i believe, do they need a new ground?

I have to admit though that Brentfords club shop is considerably more impressive than the Barrow at Tescos.

This is exactly why Timmy and Shitsu should just do one . All the apologists for them need to think what we have been reduced to by theses muppets. They have had 6 yrs and not sorted it out . Sisu and only Sisu are responsible for the mess we are in. Fuckin operation league football will be being spouted in another couple of years.

I saw the Cov thing at Tesco yesterday, and I was a little disappointed that it wasn't an actual wheelbarrow. I was expecting something you'd get fruit and veg displayed in fancily on a market stall.
