I had a letter published in the Leamington Courier when i was about 14 in the early 80's, about government and militaristic, anti-Soviet propaganda being propagated in our schools after we were shown an Army recruitment film.

Maybe i should have made it an open letter, could have brought down Thatcher far earlier.

Oh how I miss school days, when put downs like that seemed so cutting.
Still, I think you should have gone for "that geezers mum is a lezza", it would have hurt his feelings so much more!
