'The governing body of English football say they will continue to monitor the behaviour of City fans both inside and outside of football grounds, and any deliberate disruption of a game will leave the club open to FA sanctions'

Only a slap on the wrist from the FA (fair play) but the club what to ban these supporters -

"Hey, you, group of people who want to cause financial pain to Sisu, if you keep doing that we'll fine Sisu"

Not sure they've thought this through.

...if the club (not SISU) now insist that those supporters on the pitch should be banned then that says a great deal about Fisher. If they persist may I suggest a few more season ticket holders may well drop out. It may also increase outright hostility.
Fisher should use common sense here.....

You mean as opposed to points deductions? Or you mean are Sisu the club (always a fascinating discussion :yawn.

If the former, fair point. If the latter, it's not about what we think is the case. Evidently those disrupting games and doing NOPM etc see the two as the same.

I was just as angry as anyone with the goal against Bolton caused arguably by the whistle but seeing this statement from the club would it be good to go with that style of protest again? Sheffield style I mean with a big noise constantly so it isn't too disruptive just loud. Unfortunately they might give us a fine or even worse a points deduction. What do you think? Personally I wouldn't mind it as it clearly gets attention but would a fine or deduction be too destructive?

Whistles got on my nerves to be honest - think most will be glad to see the back of them. One off - fair enough, but don't drain whatever enjoyment (don't laugh) I can get from following the game. If it starts up, I'm heading to the other end of the stand (end of sulk !!)

I will be fucking livid if the ban any pitch invaders. Would seriously consider whether to renew next year.
Fans taking part in a peaceful protest after years of mis-management. lies and false dawns. Give them a break FFS.

Like I say, those doing this seem to think the two are the same.

Personally, I'm not interested in either disrupting games or the distinction between an owner and their property, we did this to death a week or so back.

How do you know what those doing this think?

As for disrupting games fuck um let's keep it up.
If they want to ban me so be it, they can make my mind up for me on whether to renew or not.

Why would you potentially want to make your team lose or affect the result?

I don't but time for sitting on our hands is over.
We are doomed but why go out whimpering.
I'd sooner give them shit.
You can sit on your hands that's fine by me, I don't expect anyone to do something they feel is not right.
Your lucky I have retired my old whistle.
Still got my trumpet though just a shame I can't play it.

I'm not on about giving them shit, I am on about affecting the match that's being played.

We have seen it twice so far and neither has gone in our favour.

We must have particularly ineffective players if we are affected by whistles but the opposition aren't.

Have a think about if ever an opposition fan was to blow a whistle and it gets them a goal, or if the opposition fans ran on the pitch and just after they scored.

I very much doubt it would be "oh well, it's the players fault".

The justification of it is shocking.

I certainly wouldn't get too worked up about it. I expect our players to be professional and switched on for 90mins as I a m sure do fans of all clubs. If fans of Sheffield Utd or Bolton had run on the pitch or blown whistles I would still expect our players and theirs to remain focussed. I wouldn't expect our players to respond differently to theirs...surely that's naive.

OR you just don't blow whistles or run on the pitch but carry out protests in other ways that won't bother the actual game?

People losing their shit because Sheff Utd fans were taking the piss singing we love you sisu, but then justifying fans having an impact on the result (negatively for both).

A lot of fans see SISU as the club. I own/run a company and if I go around treating customers in a shabby manner they would not patronise me with their custom as I am seen as the problem, all the decisions made in the running of CCFC are made under their instruction, Fisher reports to Seppala who owns SISU, the same SISU are the problem and people are staying away. I can not understand how you fail to see this.

There have also been a lot of games that even without whistles haven't gone in our favour !
