King on his assists
Coventry City striker Marlon King feels it is only a matter of time before he scores a proper goal for the Sky Blues.

The striker, had a shot blocked by the feet of Joe Murphy which led to the Sky Blues scoring the opening goal after half an hour at Scunthorpe and in the 72nd minute, he hit a shot which went in off Irons keeper Joe Murphy who was accredited with an own goal.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player, King said: "The goals don't really concern me because the staff, management, players and the fans have been fantastic to me and I know it's only a matter of time before I get a goal that isn't up for debate.

"I thought the back four and Westy were tremendous today as well and I'm just glad we've got the three points to keep us back on track.

"I'm pleased for Sheffers as well because that's what he's all about. He's a sniffer, it was a good finish and it was just what we needed to get the ball rolling.

"This league is so tight this year so we know how important it is to put a run together so we are really pleased with the result."

I think he has been unlucky. I think in his debut he had one cleared off the line and then yesterday he had a hat full of chances. Maybe against Middlesborough who he used to play for he will bang some in

That interview was funny, he looked like he was freezing his arse off and could talk properly!
