Heres mine......1962 early S3 125cc (although its now got a 175cc top end on it)

...only does about 65 mph flat out with a following wind (that's a strava gps estimate as the speedo does a good impression of a mad windscreen wiper).....but bearing in mind its still on original drum brakes & split-rims with inner-tubes, no mirrors, no indicators.... its a death defying buzz....

Got oldham and sheff u tkts but big match build up isn't helped when there's only 2 of you in the shop! I know I keep banging on about this but everything I see and hear at the moment is telling me there has been another (negative) step change across the fanbase and even a majority of those who at the start of the season were still at least interested in ccfc just aren't any more. Cheer up Michael. You know what it's like as the season comes towards an end. Although, theoretically there's still a lot to play for, most City fans have decided (rightly or wrongly) there's not (safe). Players are just the same as the season draws to a close, and you'll suddenly find teams in mid table getting rolled over by those scrapping for something at the bottom. If players switch off, it's hardy surprising fans do the same. We all care about the City in the bigger sense, but we like to have something to care about in a match (for me it will be nice to get a win, nice for Calum to get top goalscorer, but as long as we're safe, I only care about the JR and next season).

Reminds me of a holiday at Ryde, Isle of Wight, when my wife had me standing outside a shop, holding a kiddies bucket and spade(she wanted a seaside themed bathroom). I stood, surrounded by about 500 mods with their scooters, feeling a right muppet and wishing my wife would bloody well hurry up

No reason why we can't take 1000 for this bank holiday game.

I'm not sure that it actually means they are for sale there, I'm paranoid it means just that tickets bought and not collected from ccfc can be collected there.

"Tickets for the Sky Blues' away clash with the Latics will be on the gate at Boundary Park...

Tickets for Coventry City's Easter Monday clash away at Oldham Athletic will be on the gate for City fans.

The Sky Blues travel to Boundary Park for the League One tie on Monday, April 21st. with kick-off at 3pm.

City fans will be able to get tickets for the game on the day and they're now off-sale at the CCFC Superstore due to the reduced opening hours over the Easter weekend.

Prices

I will be there Monday, Trust coach leaving at 10am.
Tomorrow will be on the Hill as normal watching the Sky Blues play Swindon, but the big one is next week.
Wolves at Sixfields

Going to this now it's pay on the gate. 100% record so far at away games...Stevenage, MK Dons and Carlisle.

Surprised you can't buy on the gate. However, I prefer to have a ticket in my hand before I set off and never leave it to chance. Collected at Peterborough a couple of seasons back and wasn't settled until we had our tickets! Looking forward to the game. First time to Oldham and completes the set for League One...until next season when Chesterfield and maybe Fleetwood, Oxford or Southend come up!

So you are confident we will be in Division 1 next season because I ain't. I think Oldham is our last chance of getting points, don't see us getting 'owt from Swindon, Wolves or Sheffield United I think we are relying on those below us not getting enough to catch us, as I said we must not lose to Oldham in my opinion.

I agree. Ive been to about 8 away games this season,i won't go to sixfields. We usually try and make a night of it by staying in a travelodge etc so not a cheap weekend when you factor in petrol, accommodation, match tickets, food and beer.

Was going to do Peterborough, sheff utd as the last 2 games for this season but to be honest I can't be bothered. Ive well and truly lost interest with all the shit that's going on.

Im on 12-6 today so if we were at the Ricoh today id book the afternoon off or try and get the guy on morning's to swap with me. As it stands now I probably won't check the score until I finish.

Will i carry on next season? I'd like to think ill do a few away again but not as many. Even the away games ive been to this season do not feel the same,I look at the kids on the pitch and all i see is a sisu eleven to be honest. They've well and truly put a wedge between me and my club. Funny really cos I used to go toe to toe with the brummies at work when they'd take the piss out of my team (i work in brum). Now I laugh with them.

Give me a sisu free club back at the Ricoh and I'd fall in love with ccfc all over again. But at the moment im on the verge of packing it all in.

I know where you're coming from, but you've got to hope that after the JR and when the pre-season optimism kicks in, people will get the bug again.

Who knows, this time next year we could be pushing for promotion in front of 20k at the Ricoh! Or it could all be over and we're having a new adventure supporting AFC Coventry, top of the league and taking over ground after ground. Only if it's still dragging on in it's current vein should we be really worried I think, and I think that's unlikely after the JR.

Seeing posts by you and Steve, there's some interest in meeting at the Ricoh but I'm not convinced how much. Are you getting a feel for if people are up for the hill because we don't want another sheff u saga so knocking ricoh on head might be best way forward?

Hi Michael
Fully respect your idea about the Ricoh and me stating I am going on the hill is only a personal choice.
I understand a few more than normal are going to be on hill for the last game against Wolves and be good to let the team know we are there for them. Been informed that the Sixfields pub is a designated Coventry venue which suits us as right next to where we stand as you know.

First time I went to a run on the IOW was in 83. There were apparently 10K scooters there. I had loads over the years, got my first a Primavera in '82. Got rid of my last onebin 2012. Will get another one day.

We used to go to the Sportsmans Arms every Wednesday for a soul do in the 80s. Great times.

Steve, a few people in the market today were asking what the Trust's plans are i.e. are there any events in the pipeline?

The fans on the hill get behind the team more than those in the ground.

The a Trust have a coach going to Oldham, we still have places free if anyone wants to join us?
Remember you can pay on the gate?
Contact Gary at the Sky Blue Trust if you want to book a place, we leave from outside swimming baths at 10am on Monday.

I certainly don't expect a big turnout, not when only 400 were sold by about Thursday. Less than 1000 I reckon.

The fan base is moving on. Get used to low gates.

Been to 2 away games this season. Thats it.

Wont be going to anymore. Until we have new owners. Dont care how long it takes.

The fact we can now pay on the gate will encourage a few more to go.
Got to be the best pies in the league.
