Impatient aren't we? The doors not closed completely after Edge left, yet someone's not happy that we've not brought a replacement in?

Pressley already said when he signs a player, he wants it to be the right player, and not just anyone (a panic buy)

It's not like a substitution where they have to shake hands with their replacement.

But I thought SP had targets lined up! He went on and on about it, how he was just waiting for the embargo to be lifted. That was a lie!

Not really, he said recently that his original targets were taken in the meantime.

We’ve done well in bringing in Andy Webster and Mathieu Manset who showed today that they are going to be terrific assets to this football club but, to be honest, some of the targets I had on my list have gone and I want to ensure that I get the right one.

From the telegraph yesterday.....

"Edjenguele’s departure, hot on the heels of goalkeeper Chris Dunn’s switch to Yeovil, means that manager Steven Pressley now has two opportunities to freshen up his squad under the ‘one out one in’ arrangement sanctioned by the Football League – and the Telegraph understands that the club will try to stretch that loophole.

They can currently only employ a player on 75 per cent of the wages of the man he is replacing, but will seek dispensation to amalgamate those salaries and bring in a more expensive recruit on what would effectively be a ‘one for two’ swap."

Pehaps Elvis himself was missled?

Or its been so long because of the embargo that his "targets" may have found other deals.

Or it could indeed be BS.

We won't know, so its a bit unfair on Pressley to call him a liar.

Or perhaps its a simple case that they players he identified don't want to come............. we are not exactly an exciting prospect for players at the moment are we.............

I'm surprised Elvis knows if he can bring a player, not bring a player, or sack a player.
Every time we want to sign someone we have to go cap in hand to the FL, Can't we just publish the accounts and get on with it?

However, we seem to keep pushing our luck, first we are in embargo, then we are "not in administration for football purposes", so we get one in one out, now we want to be "75% value of 2 out = value of one in"?
