I can't watch it. I'm too depressed.

I'll watch it at least 3 times, but mainly for a bit of lower-league scouting joy.

we cant afford anyone...

Watch BBC tonight for the following

1) Boothroyd score 1, but perhaps 2 against Man City
2) Westwood have a blinder at Old Trafford
3) Dann do a sterling job for Blackburn
4) Philips bag the winner in a tight game against Millwall
5) Turner and Gunnar play well for play off chasing Cardiff
6) Fox have a blinder against CCFC
7) Thorn to be proud of how we came from 2 down and the last 2 goals were down to tiredness

Phew, Manish now says Hull is the first game and Pompey the 2nd. I guess we're 3rd, as they advertised Southampton in the link before MOTD.

Bet we get a shot of Southampton getting off their coach at the posh entrance...

Roland Nilsson should have stopped Fox getting that cross in.

So I didn't watch, did we get a mention after the game or any good highlights?

There were 6 highlights in total!

No interview of Andy THorn, only their gaffer.

Not one mention or even a glimpse of the protest / flag. Yet on MOTD, they made a special mention of the fans who stayed behind to protest against Steve Kean!

It wasn't a feature game, literally just the same as the others!

Every week I say "We should sign that Ryan Hall from Southend, ex-Palce youngster, wand of a left foot...." He didn't let me down today, scoring with a peach of a curling long-range left-foot strike

Come on Hoff, get the money men in, we need to sign a couple of lower league gems like this as well as experience! Hall is a future Premiership player IMO. He has that something-extra that I've seen in all the lower-league players who have gone on to play in the top-flight.

I see Andy Whing had a shot cleared off the line for Oxford. He's getting a game for them at last, then.

The Ryan Hall goal gets even better with each view..he also set up their first with a pin-point left-wing free-kick. Not the most articulate interviewee mind...

Ryan Hall won't be going anywhere in the short term. He owes Sturrock big time for sticking by him last year when he got in a bit of trouble with the law....and he knows it. Behond next season is another matter, if Southend get promoted which is looking likely then the buzzards will be circling the squad for any pickings and with their minimal pay structure Southend can't compete.

Anthony Wordsworth, Colchester. 6 foot + goalscoring midfielder. Look him up. Surely we could get him in? Any sane board would surely look at him? Just dreaming I know.

Did anyone notice the Yeovil vs CCFC match was the only game in the segment that they did not review. They always, always overlook CCFC and it's coming across biased.

Considering the highlights they showed made it look like we dominated Yeovil if anything I'd say it was bias towards us. Only took them 3 seasons to do it.

My point is they didn't even say a word about it in the review.

They didn't say a word about 20 other clubs either. What's so special about Cov?!

There's really no reason for the BBC to be biased against us, outside of Leicester fan Manish dictating coverage which is unlikely. If anything we're likely to be one of the more featured sides in League 1 as the season goes on.

There is some sh*t posted on this site (some of it by me) but this nonsense about BBC having a bias against us is just laughable. Like that Leicester supporting presenter sits in a meeting with the director and editor before each show and says, "Lads, unless you show the Coventry goals last and limit their game to a 30 sec slot I'm not going on."

Seriously people!

Ok so maybe they are not biased. I just thought it weird that they comment on all the other matches in that segment apart from ours. They may be biased against Yeovil??
