Although it was certainly a special time, each signing and bloated wage was another nail in our coffin which has led us to where we are today.

I'd agree with that statement my friend, as long as we dont absolve our current owners of any blame.

Interestingly Robbie keane only made 31 appearances for us before the Club record fee to italy of £13 million - (£7 million profit 1 year) football is a daft game robbie only spent 5 months with the italian side appearing only 6 times before he was loaned out to Leeds

Remember seeing him Leamington with Noel Whelan the day after he signed.. Good times
