Anyone who gets identified, banned for life and picks up a record for a pitch invasion deserves everything they get and what's more to use the venacular they can fuck right off!

If you go on the pitch and the club stop you getting a season ticket it will sell easily as they are likely to be the hottest tickets in town and if you could sneakily get a match by match ticket it will cost a fortune.

Are Boro playing tonight?

If not can we bring Adi back just to rugby tackle anyone who tries to come on

I thought it was a stupid idea to run on the pitch even before Doug’s message. I know I’m in the minority and a bit of a spoilsport, but I don’t like the idea of pitch invasions generally. I just think it endangers player safety especially for the opposition. Did do it as a 13 year old for the final Highfield Road game, but that’s it. Let’s make tonight a real celebratory event and show our appreciation to the players from the stands.

I can understand the appeal if you are below the age of 16. Above that I dont get it.

Anyone who is knob enough to go on the pitch can enjoy a criminal record and ban from the club. The criminal record then impacts your employment….

Enjoy the celebrations from the stands.

Just trying to help mate, seriously 🩵

Nobody enjoyed more than me the riotous freedom we had in days gone by, but for better or worse we now live in a surveillance society.

Different type of pitch invasion, but this seems a lifetime ago now

Fan invades Coventry City pitch and shouts at players

There was a pitch invasion when we got to the check a trade final. The pitch was fucked before that. It was just people getting photos of themselves for social media.

I was on the pitch away at Wimbledon in 96 Selhurst Park, I don't think I'd be able to scale the advertising hordings nowadays so I definitely won't be bothering

I think the invasion made the pitch better as it got flattened slightly

If our social media idiots like Sunny and Lee could go on and get a ban that would be great.

Can we get them on at half time to have a scrap in the centre circle?

Gotta hold my hand up here - Only ever did it once - Early nineties, last game against Sheff Utd. I would have been in my early 20's.
I must have been fuelled by the exhilaration of the 0-0 draw.
Have to be honest, after my initial burst of speed over the first 30 metres I felt the need to question, 'what the fuck am I doing'?

Think that game might be one of our lowest points in recent history, although I guess the fact we were even playing that game in Coventry was a plus!

And that’s kind of my thought. Everyone runs on the pitch then just stands around. Weirdos.

We had some pretty wretched results that season, lost to Newport at home, FGR and Yeovil doing the double on us (Including the 2-6 fiasco)

There was a little run of bad form we had end of Jan/Early Feb where we dropped out of the play off spots altogether

The 1-1 draw away at Mansfield we got with 10 men was the turning point, other than the Yeovil home game we were pretty seamless after that

I was sat, well, stood next to Marc McNulty's Mum at that Mansfield away game.
She couldn't even get a seat with her husband who was in the next block - I offered to swap with him but she declined my offer
Felt a bit awkward when he got subbed off.

That was definitely the turning point, the red card was Jordan Willis after about 10 minutes and they scored the resulting free kick! Also the game after as well where we won 1-0 at Wycombe in midweek where it was -10 degrees! The late Marc McNulty penalty!

Show me a time a club has been deducted points for a league winning pitch invasion
