Westwood for me was the best keeper we’ve had in the last 15 years

I did too. I was surprised MR got rid of RCC rather than Burge, who was fucking hopeless.

Oggy always used to get the blame but there doesn’t seem to have been a huge improvement since he left and we’ve had more than one goalkeeping coach since then

The best thing he did to keep his legendary status was not play a 4th or 5th game etc.

We really need a Old Trafford style statue with him, Chris Whyte & Mick Harford.

Was he emergency keeper when Burge got injured? The difference was night and day - I still wanted him when we got promoted and he went to Wycombe

Burge was up there with the likes of Scott Shearer, that pre-season own goal in Spain when he just walked off summed him up perfectly.

My only fear is that we need to learn from the season with Burge and RCC at the age of 21 and 22. I can see all the appeal in Dovin but need experience alongside him, so although we all would be pleased to see back of Collins and Wilson we do need an experienced campaigner alongside Dovin

And yet only one of the two has actually played in the football league consistently since they left.

This isn't one im familiar with, what happened? From that particular era i tend to remember Fabien Debec as our worst keeper. I don't know if they all seemed worse coming off the back of the Oggy, Hedman, Kirkland era but i also dont thiNk any of them went on to do anything poSt-CCFC

Ah, the hapless Raddy Avramobic. I remember the Watford keeper kicking the ball upfield and him letting it bounce over his head into the net. Embarrassing!

And the following week he punched a Stoke corner into the net. That was the end for him.

Fabien Debec stands out as by far the worst in my time supporting City. The man looked terrified any time the ball was near him.

Nuzzo wasn’t the best and Debec was equally bad.
I knew a keeper at the club and he said Oggy was a good coach.

Glazier was excellent, but (IMHO) there wasn’t much to choose between him and Blyth.

Bobby Gould absolutely slaughtered him in a post match Interview, saying he'll never play for the club again.

Years later, Gould said he regretted his public comments and said the interview was one of his biggest regrets.
