Watching the gane now made 2 top saves, looks big and covers his angle well. Not seen much in the way of commanding his area and made a bad error with the passing the ball out.

But watching 20 odd mins you can see he looks comfortable and confident in what he us doing

Not to be overdramatic but I think this is probably the best save I’ve ever seen a keeper make. Truly defying the laws of gravity.

That is a bit overdramatic. Looked relatively routine really.

Kept a clean sheet.

Did he go around the stadium clapping the fans or crying?

Not sure I’d go as far as saying he’s defying the laws of gravity but it’s a great save.

From watching his highlight reel I would say he has a tendency of making saves look more dramatic than they need to be, clearly his strength is diving but he does that Pickford thing of flopping like a fish when he’s making a big save. Not knocking him though, it’s great he can make those saves and I hope we sign him, I just find it quite funny

Every day that Dovin is in Bajen is a good day for Bajen. Some very nice saves that give us 1 point in the match. Will probably unfortunately leave this summer and leave a big hole to fill in the goal. The only thing you can hope for is very well paid…

Collins on the principle, Wilson has one year on his contract and we can get money for him, he won’t sign a new deal and isn’t likely to be happy playing second fiddle after his previous season.

Do you genuinely think we would get much money for Wilson ?

Would have to Collins to keep. Feel he was alright when he came in and if he could get back to his form before Plymouth away he’d be a decent number 2.

I didn’t say massive money but something back in the kitty to spend, we won’t get that when he leaves on a free.
A bit like Godden leaving something is better than nothing!

That’s tricky tbf, I feel like we should maybe keep Collins because he’s the newer signing and has longer on his contract so maybe worth more to us in the long run? But I feel like Wilson is generally more up for it and has a better demeanour? But then they’re both not good enough at this level so it’s like picking between shit on toast or a turd sandwich

Why would we sell a keeper if we sign Dovin?

It's sensible to have 3 senior keepers

Waste of wages at this level really. 1st choice, 2nd choice, and youth lads should cover the rest. We have a decent enough crop apparently.

No, not really. If you lose 1 keeper for a period you are moments away from a world of trouble.

This level? We're in the championship not the Beazer Homes League

How often over the past decade have we had two senior keepers out at the same time?

There's rarely been a time that two senior keepers have gone out simultaneously. 3 senior keepers aren't necessary. What does that say about our youth pathways if we'd rather have a 3rd senior backup than chuck a young lad on in a dire emergency?
