All the callers and dexters complaining about the ref not sending off their keeper for the 1 on 1, I wonder how many would have said the same if it was Murphy who was the keeper who went out his area when 1 on 1? Let's face it isn't unheard of is it, although he doesn't tend to come out to make challenges.

The ref made a decision; live with it

Fair result. We were poor upfront today . Wilson did ok but Clarke was poor . missed a simple chance at the end.Defence looked pretty good barring Christie who was guilty of getting caught out giving the ball away . Webster and Seabourne played well. Midfield was so so, Thomas had a good game but Fleck didn't really create much.Moussa wasn't much cop when he came on either.Ref had a stinker, missed at least three handballs, two in the box and a blatant red on their keeper, which i thought he evened up with the fleck tackle. Give Oldham credit though they played pretty well and took the game to us.They could have won it at the end from another unmarked header that we seem to be good at(oldham goal).Enjoyable game which we should be winning but our sloppy play nearly cost us.

Only listened via the radio and Eakin was certain that Wilson was running away from goal when the keeper took him out, so a yellow seemed the right decision, but as I say I didn't see it for myself.

He knocked the ball past the keeper and was the last man.he still had a clear goalscoring chance.

4 points from these last 2 games - happily have settled for that. Rotherham is a big game for us now - way more important than Barnsley. See that Claude Davis was sent off for Rotherham - is he that big lump who used to play for PNE. Used to be a good player, if so,but must be knocking on a bit now?

Yea, that's him. Lee Frecklington was also injured in the warm up today for Rotherham so that makes him a doubt for new years day, combine that with Dicko going back to Wigan and it is going to be a different side we face on New years day

Ben Pringle out of wednesdays game after 5th booking today so that is good news, Frecklington expected to be fit.

Rotherham 100% bigger game than Barnsley. Could be 6points away from them with a win.
Barnsley a nothing game and a dump
