To be honest I have already been disheartened by all of this. People saying yes are people who already dont go. I cant believe people wont skip 1 game just to make a point that we are ALL not happy about the northampton move. Sad times

Chin up old lad...RFC hasn't been on yet with a cheery note about how excellent Sixfield is.. hopes springs eternal maybe he is considering his position?

"Jealous personal dig at the Sixfields attendees"?? why would people not going for moral reasons be jealous? You have really bought into the consumer society haven't you, a must have sort of guy it makes you feel better and you are one of them 'self appointed fans' or is the irony lost on you.

Call it what you like pal - but dont bring morality into it, its football, a leisure pursuit. Wish everyone was so excitable about the club last year when barely 9000 of you could get off your sorry arses to attend.

These ridiculous "why dont we all do this??" campaigns do nothing but further enflame entrentched positions. There a quite a few people I know who would make a POINT of going if some self appointed fans forum decided we have to boycott.
It also smacks of yet another jealous personal dig at the sixfields attendees.

I have just had an exchange of emails with some friends, one of whom is in the medical profession. He suggested that all those going to Sixfields have a medical condition known as Khuntz-Mimi syndrome.

It is how I and others morally judge SISU...not necessarily how we morally judge those who attend Sixfields. The moral stance is to do with how SISU conduct their business, how they run their companies, how they have treated the fan base....last year and previous years...perhaps some were already seeing the light. But fair play to your attendance record, you are by the sounds of it extra special.

Are you not a little bit embarrassed about your attendance Andreas ? I have some friends who go to Sixfields and they don't feel comfortable at all with it but either they want to keep their kids on board with the City or just can't break the habit on a Saturday/Sunday. None gloat !

Who is gloating? Not me. The fact none of you can understand why someone would go to Sixfields (unless apparently they dodge the issue by blaming their kids!) shows that calling for boycotts is just divisive and pointless.

Just trying to strike some balance on here and prepared to take the shit for it so bring it on!

I'm not.

I miss seeing the team play, but I couldn't enjoy watching them at Sixfields because I consider that it's wrong that we are there.

Yeah; because nobody else would have come into town and bought us out of administration; just like didn't happen at Derby, Southampton, Palace, Ipswich, Leicester, Millwall, Middlesbrough. Oh, wait there a minute...

And if your eyes were closed, there were even parties interested this time around, with us being a division lower, with crowds halved by the policies of your mates.

Even Linnell has moved away from that poor, poor line nowadays....

Forget the football being first class; I'll tell you what's been first class - the fortitude of the Coventry fan, staying away from this perverse pantomime. Some 80%+ staying away, and proving Fisher's estimations to be pure fantasy. Guess the spirit and morality of the fans is stronger than was thought, eh?

Those clubs were more attractive, better supported, more potential oh and didnt have a Council involved who owned a football ground by default.

The council-owned bit is a farce, unless you'd like to explain to us all why freehold is better than a long leasehold? Don't guess you can though.

And this time around, when there were still parties interested? Or are you ignoring that bit for convenience sake?

Keep believing it if it makes you happy. You have achieved nothing with all your "spirit and morality" A peverse pantomime is 7000 people going on Saturday (for most of them their one game of the season) and then name calling those who want to go on 29th December

As much as I do agree it sounds like a good idea, unfortunately people will make their own decisions, I doubt we will ever get a full boycott of one game..

Nope. It's not perversity. Its the fortitude posted about above.

It's not that they can't travel. It's not that they won't travel. It's that they won't travel to support the Sixfields Farce.

Argue all you like. The dismal crowds at the Northampton pantomime, viewed in sharp contrast to record-breaking away support - as highlighted in the national press - is an overwhelming statistical reality. And does it make me happy; in response to SISU's actions? Damn right
