I love to follow our old players and see how they get on with their careers. From when my heroes Tommy Hutch went to Man City and Terry Yorath went to Spurs. I've even followed Bellamy as part of my family is Welsh.
The last two nights I've watched - not the European cup - but the Conference play-offs. Wrexham under Morrell and then last night my second team Newport County with David Pipe as captain was brilliant. AM has done an amazing job and seems to be the only person to get anything out of Thorton, although he didn't play.

So what player(s) have you followed and who do you think has done the best since leaving?

I was so shocked at that move!! I think the whole footballing world did. He found a new lease of life the season before he left and carried that through to Liverpool. I'm far from what you'd call a fan of Liverpool, but I was made up for him that season. I'm convinced that if we'd have held on to him, we wouldn't have gone down that year.

I'm also pleased to see Morrell doing well for himself. If our future was more certain, I'd be tipping him to return to us as manager.

I think Huckerby's was an interesting story. He sort of flopped a bit after he left us. Did OK at Man City but then became a Norwich legend. So much so, that his post career allegencies are torn between the two clubs. He refused to play for Strachan at Celtic on several occassions simply because he loved Norwich so much.

Cedric Rousell .... have a look at his career after he left CCFC, quite interesting to be honest with everything that happened in his personal life. thought he was good for us and we should of stuck by him. he stuck by us when he could of gone else where for 4x the money.
