Why should a sports club be responsible for developing the surrounding land?

How was the Wasps deal fantastic?

Just about every major development will require payments to the Council for roads and schools, and often will also include a requirement for other things like play areas or football pitches, a Council could tie in just about anything. It looks like the talk of development of the Ricoh surrounding area is an extension of that.

Whether the Wasps deal is fantastic is not yet known.

Because they are a local authority and CCFC are a local sports team.

London Wasps are not.

Only a few months ago the council were saying how wrong it was for CCFC to move out of Coventry then enable another cities team to move in.

Ok but that doesn't really answer my question does it?

If CCFC are to act like a private business with a short termism view (i.e. Helping to improve of the City of Coventry is nothing to with us), why should CCC hold on to the Ricoh until CCFC are in a position to buy it?

Name a football club in a council owned site that has ever spent its own money to help regenerate their city.

We are where we are....why all the bumped posts? Posters trying to point score amongst themselves? It changes nothing, what we need is a leader to bring us out of the wilderness; Pressley, Waggot, Fisher, Seppala?

How confident are you in these as individuals or as a team?

Not really, your wrong. Just admit it.

Man City, in a council owned stadium, participated in a project with the local authority to redevelop land around the stadium.

That will no doubt help them in FFP calculations and they are not a club in any sense that we would recognise. The fact you do eagerly produced it and thinks it justifies your councils stance here says a lot about you and confirms what I've always thought about you.

Is your conscience clear that you haven't once criticised the council and embraced all their actions aimed against the club?

Of course it is t - because you hate the club that's obvious.

My conscience is perfectly clear. Is yours?

You find one, just one post where I have said I am glad CCC sold to Wasps. Otherwise I expect an apology.

Is it is it really? I think the passivity of acceptance of this situation is what's the big concern. I do t see too many others very concerned on here at all.

WHY?
Because we are all giving up on this shit just going for the football now, the rest will just have to happen on it's own.
Don't personally give a shit anymore fuck sisu fuck CCC fuck everyone involved.

Those who are seen as being pro-sisu would be some of thr first to admit that both sisu and ccc have been a disaster for the club.

Yet it seems that those who keep trying to justify the council will never admit what the council have done to our football club.

To be fair you have stated before that NOMP wont work so you won't do that. I can't see what else you can do to make stand against our owners over this situation.

I would like them to try and fix the mess by seeing if they can buy access to the revenue from wasps as part of a long term rent deal. I just can't see a new stadium as a solution.

I suppose now you could try and apply a bit of pressure on them to reveal the area they would like to build the new stadium in. I can't see what else there is to do protest wise?

You're only allowed to feel that way if a Cayman Islands hedge fund holds the club hostage 35 miles away.
