I'd take a punt if it was on a pay as you play basis and his wage wasn't too expensive.
I imagine he'll probably get a half decent offer elsewhere though, maybe Saudi Arabia?

He'd be mad not to take some MLS or Saudi money, I'm sure he'd have a load of options in a developing league

I'd be happy on a pay as you play basis but I really can't see it happening.

I would love to have him back for sentimental reasons, but his injury record realistically rules us out. He has certainly come a long way from that loan spell with Tamworth, and has had a career to be proud of. If I was him I would look at the MLS/ Saudi option rather than England where the physical demands might not be as great and he might manage his fitness issues better.

There's a number of EPL clubs interested apparently. He won't be coming here.

I bet Andy Impey would gladly come back on a pay as you play.

Key aspect for me: what does he call a bread roll? Could it be worth it just for the sentimental Youtube video ad revenue?

Maybe that’s why the new kit isn’t out yet. It’s just a photo of a batch and they wanted Cal to model it since Rapha calls it a barm cake and that just isn’t the same.

If anyone's watched the interview with him, his Childhood in Coventry was really tough, and it sounds like he's been happier since he moved away, so doubt he wants to come back anyway

He should join Celtic or Rangers, score 200 goals in a few seasons then bow out

Any chance of Al Nassr or even better Al Khaleej (a short hop across the causeway to more liberal Bahrain) he should go for that last big payday.

Not sure any of them will be interested but perhaps Wilson’s head chopping former employers can pull some strings
