I'm all for anything that reduces these murders, it's happening daily and is completely out of control. No one has any need to carry a knife with them, so an immediate jail sentence for carrying one works with meOh fuck off woke society!
Stop and search exists, it doesn't need bringing in, the police have the right to do it.
But because the MET are such a cluster fuck it's politically sensitive.
Last week there was a report about how many children they'd stripped searched without an appropriate adult present, which is basically child abuse.
They make a rod for their own back.
And the 'party of law and order' have been I government for 12 years, why isn't their mandatory jail sentences for carrying a knife?

Think it's the fashion now. Big coat and "Bally" In 30 degree heat.I was back over a few weeks ago and walked out the train station and saw 3 teenagers wearing balaclavas within the space of 10 minutes - what’s all that about?
The problems are very much down to the government rather than trying to shift the blame onto some imaginary group of people based on some imported American culture war.
